What Is It?

Dandelion is a deep-rooted broadleaf weed with a basal rosette of jagged leaves and bright yellow flowers that turn into white seed heads. It spreads by seed and, when established, by a thick taproot. This weed can behave as both an annual and a perennial. Pre-emergent herbicides may reduce new seedlings but will not control existing plants.
